Quality Control testing of your units is mandatory. The RADSAF Program requires that a start up Quality Assurance (policies) and Quality Control testing protocols binder set, along with the Quality Control testing Phantom tool be purchased and stored in your facility. Your once a year membership will renew each January and include one Technologist workbook for the new year.

Special Features
The radiation safety in-service video will also include a short competency test afterwards. It will be graded and a certificate will be awarded to the participant so they can prove they took part in this yearly mandatory in-service. You can document their results in your facilities in-service binder. Inspectors have been known to look for this competency.
The x-ray technologist will be able to test through each part of the job description videos and test out and be award CEU’s for their continuing education credits. The ASRT has granted 2 CEU points for the completion of this radiation safety tutorial.
