RADSAF is a yearly membership program that provides the C-arm Radiation Safety Quality Assurance Policies for your facility.

It includes a Quality Control Testing workbook and a complete video series geared to educate your staff and your assigned Radiation Safety Officer (RSO).

Your staff can view and test on the yearly competency radiation safety in-service. Your technologists can watch the “How To” training programs and learn to perform and document the Quality Control equipment testing.

The RADSAF video series teaches technologists how to perform and document:

  • The day to day check list (staying complaint with the BoH)
  • The monthly QC phantom testing
  • The Quarterly mechanical testing
  • Yearly updates and Report cards
  • Lead apron scans and inventory records
  • With built-in reminders for your RSO to keep up on other yearly radiation safety duties.

The RADSAF membership provides you the Program, the Tools and the Video Series that trains your staff and keeps your facility compliant.

RADSAF‘s Approach is a Video Series made easy for you operators to implement and maintain. Its piece of mind for managers and it’s the ABC’s instruction guide for the technologist. Keep it simple, organized, documented, and easily accessible.

The RADSAF Program was designed and created to make the QA & QC safety guidelines easy to use and to understand. Inspectors have found that all their answers where right at their fingertips, saving them time and keeping a radiation safety inspection quick. ( I have been doing this for 15 years) In addition, the RADSAF Program and its membership provides insightful video tutorials on improving c-arm skills, Operating room preparedness, visual perspectives and procedural advice to know more about what is going on in the case than just x-ray.

For state proficiency there is a Basic c-arm in-service video that discusses applications, c-arm movements, locks and image quality and low dose imaging. Newly hired c-arm technologists have their job description in video format. The website itself, contains information about radiation safety protection gear and product reviews, c-arm trouble shooting solutions from fellow c-arm technologists, and answers to questions from other facility techs, managers, and administrators.
